Still life drawing reflection: 2-D. October 18, 2012.
1. The good/strong parts of my drawing is the shading of the tires, because they had different lights and darks in the necessary areas.
2. What could have been better is the size of the drawing, because it doesn't exactly fill the page
3. I drew the enitre frames of both of the bikes.
4. The light areas of my drawing are parts of the front back. The dark areas are on the back bike. I shaded it like this because of the position of the light and bikes.
5. To make the drawing look 3-D I used different values of shading and on the tires I had the lines connect join with each other.
6. I learned it is helpful to think outside the box to approach problems in new ways to overcome them.
7. I drew from front to back starting with the yellow bike then onto the red bike, because it was easier this way.
8. Yes this is a worthwhile project. Mr. Purdy should allow students to set up their own still life. It allows the students to work with what's comfortable to them.
